COMC is a synthetic analog with simplified structure of COTC (#14675) isolated from Streptomyces and its molecular weight (MW) is less than 200. It was reported that COMC showed 10 times or more potent activity against murine colon adenocarcinoma cell line MAC26 than COTC.^{1, 2)}In addition, COMC and COTC has equitoxic activity against some other tumor cell lines. ³⁾
