R&D Systems offers a Human IL-19 Quantikine ELISA Kit (#D1900). Interleukin 19 (IL-19) is a member of the IL-10 family of cytokines. It is upregulated in monocytes, keratinocytes, smooth muscle cells, and airway epithelial cells in response to inflammatory stimulation and promotes the release of other pro-inflammatory factors including IL-1 beta, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-alpha. Elevated serum levels of IL-19 are associated with conditions such as asthma, uremia, and septic shock. The Human IL-19 Quantikine ELISA is designed to measure IL-19 levels in cell culture supernatants, serum, plasma, saliva, urine, and human milk.

Aliquots of cell culture supernatant from human peripheral blood leukocytes, unstimulated or stimulated with PHA for the indicated times, were assayed using the Human IL-19 Quantikine ELISA Kit (#D1900).
