It is very important to eliminate the cyto-toxicity of remaining proteases used for cell dissociation, to let continuous growth of the cells under Serum-Free condition. r-Trypsin/EDTA (r-TE) and Synthetic Trypsin Inhibitor (s-TI) solutions are ready-to-use products for the Serum-Free culture of the animal cells. Both of r-TE and s-TI are safe materials with a non-animal origin for cell dispersing or neutralizing activity of the trypsin.
