ALyS series provided by Cell Science & Technology Institute is serum-free medium developed for in vitro culture of human peripheral blood lymphocytes. T lymphocyte culture is important in various immunological and clinical research. Research is underway to improve the cytocidal activity of T lymphocytes isolated from peripheral blood and natural killer (NK) cells. Various lymphocytes such as activated lymphokine-activated killer cells (LAK), cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL), and NK cells are used for immunocytotherapy.
ALyS™505N Medium : Serum-free and developed for in vitro culture of human peripheral blood lymphocytes.
ALyS™705 Medium : Chemically defined, xeno-free and developed for in vitro culture of human peripheral blood lymphocytes.

ALyS™505N Medium

Features

  • Suitable for culturing human peripheral T-lymphocytes
  • Xeno-free: all proteins contained in the medium are recombinants or human proteins with heat-treatment.
  • High growth rate of human peripheral T-lymphocytes: adding small amount of plasma (0.1-2%) may help to increase the growth rate
*Note: In case of primary culture of peripheral blood T-lymphocytes, it is recommended to add 1-5% plasma.

ALyS™705 Medium

Features

  • Chemically defined medium suitable for culturing human lymphocytes
  • Xeno-free: protein in the medium is only human-insulin recombinant
  • Higher growth rate than ALyS505N medium
  • Share stress between cells are decreased by micromolecular polymer used as a substitute of Albumin
  • Mouse acute toxicity was tested and did not show adverse effects on tissue
