The ALyS™ medium series is a line of serum-free culture media optimized for the in vitro culture of human peripheral blood lymphocytes. Culturing T lymphocytes plays a critical role in a wide range of immunological studies and clinical development research. Ongoing research aims to enhance the cytotoxic activity of peripheral blood-isolated T lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells. Consequently, various activated lymphocytes—including lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cells, cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), and NK cells—are widely utilized in immune cell therapy applications.

ALyS505N (Serum-Free)

ALyS505N is a high-performance medium for cultivating lymphokine activated killer (LAK) cells using recombinant or human-derived proteins, eliminating xenogenic components.

Features

  • Composition: Contains recombinant human insulin/transferrin and pharmaceutical-grade human albumin.
  • Optional Supplements: While supporting proliferation without serum, adding 0.1–2% human plasma can further enhance growth.

ALyS705 is a superior, fully synthetic, and chemically defined medium based on the ALyS505N formula.

Features
