A low molecular-weight (1.7 to 47 kDa) prestained protein marker derived from natural proteins that can be stored at 4°C for 1 year. The proprietary protein coloring technology achieves high stability and can be stored in the refrigerator.

Regarding 8-230 kDa range, please refer to DynaMarker Protein MultiColor Ladder Marker, Stable II.

Features

  • Most conventional protein size markers need to be frozen, but this product is stable for a long time at 4°C and can be stored in a refrigerator. No freezing or thawing is required.
  • A uniform solution at 4°C. Since it is a ready-to-use solution dissolved in a sample buffer in advance, it can be applied as is.
  • All bands show sharp and intense tones. 4 colors.
  • Suitable for monitoring electrophoresis and electroblotting. Highly resistant to stripping and washing buffers after transfer onto membranes.
  • For Tris-Tricine-SDS buffer

  • Apparent molecular weights are lot specific. Please refer to the attached datasheet to each product.

Detection of β-Amyloid (1-42) using DynaMarker Protein MultiColor Stable, Low Range

The marker and 4.5 kDa β-Amyloid (1-42) were electrophoresed on a polyacrylamide gel and transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane (semi-dry method). The transferred membrane was reacted with anti-β-Amyloid monoclonal antibody and detected by DAB color development.
The marker maintained high visibility without fading throughout the detection process. The marker showed accurate molecular weight even in several thousand Da.

Stripping buffer tolerance

The marker was transferred to PVDF membrane after electrophoresis on polyacrylamide gel. The transferred membrane was stripped in the presence of 2% SDS and 2-Mercaptoethanol at 50°C for 45 min. All colored bands remained highly visible after the stripping.

Depending on membrane type or stripping buffer composition, the bands may be slightly obscured.
