Features

Electropherogram of DynaMarker RNA High for Easy Electrophoresis
  • RNA Loading Buffer AG+ (set component) helps you to do RNA electrophoresis both denaturing agarose gel (by formaldehyde) and non-denaturing agarose gel, such as 1 x TAE and 0.5 x TBE.
  • DynaMarker RNA High AGN consists of 200, 500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 5,000 and 8,000 bases of RNAs, the same type as DynaMarker RNA High (#DM160).
  • Each RNA band has adjusted to 0.1 µg/µL. RNA amount of each sample can be estimated by comparing contrast of bands.

Preparation of gel loading solution

  1. Add formaldehyde＊ to RNA loading buffer AG+.
  2. Mix the formaldehyde–added RNA loading buffer AG+ (prepared at 1.) and DynaMarker RNA High AGN or RNA sample.
  3. After heat treated, they are ready for electrophorese.

＊ Formaldehyde is not included in this product.

RNA Easy Measurement under denaturing agarose gel

  Denaturing agarose gel  
1×MOPS, 1% Agarose
RNA Easy Measurement under Non-denaturing agarose gel

  Non-denaturing agarose gel  
1×TAE, 1.3% Agarose

DynaMarker RNA High AGN (0.45 µg/well: left end), human total RNA (0.4 µg/well) were electrophoresed on denaturing agarose gel or non-denaturing agarose gel. DynaMarker RNA High AGN or human total RNA was mixed with formaldehyde-added RNA loading buffer AG+ and treated as above. Both denaturing and non-denaturing gels showed similar patterns.

  1. To analyze the site-specific function of 18 S rRNA, RNA fragments of each region were synthesized by in vitro transcription.
