Mold cooling plate
Mold cooling plate (Embedding base mold cooling plate) is a useful device for making paraffin blocks.
Normally, a mold containing samples and paraffin is placed on the full flat cooling plate or bench. However, this method is difficult to control the hardening speed of paraffin, then fine control of sample position or direction was not possible.
Our mold cooling plate has the unique appearance : There is a 1 mm difference of step on the plate.
By adjusting the position of mold on the step, solidification speed is controllable.
Features
- No power source is needed. Just put the plate in a dedicated bag and store it in the freezer before use.
- Made of aluminium
- Step helps to control the hardening speed of paraffin.
