This ELISA kit can easily measure the amount of diacetylspermine in urine.

N¹,N¹²-Diacetylspermine (DiAcSpm)

It was first reported in 1971 that urinary polyamine excretion increased in cancer patients, and many studies have been conducted since then. In recent years, it has been discovered that small amounts of N¹,N¹²-diacetylspermine (DiAcSpm) are excreted in urine.
Although it accounts for only 0.4% of total polyamines in the urine of healthy people, it has been reported that it may be a more prominent marker of pathological changes in cancer than total polyamines.
