Background	A wide variety of environmental and pathophysiological stressful conditions trigger the synthesis of heat shock proteins (hsp's) or stress response proteins (srp's). HSP60 is a potential antigen in a number of autoimmune diseases including human arthritis.This antibody stains the involucrin in a variety of sizes: 170kD in MCF-7 cells, a doublet of ~115kD and 150kD in gorilla and owl monkey, 66kD in dog, and a doublet of 105kD in pig.
