Background: CD4
CD4 is an approximately 55 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein that is expressed predominantly on thymocytes and a subset of mature T cells. In humans, CD4 is also expressed to a lesser extent on monocytes and macrophage related cells.

CD4 in Human T Cells.
Cluster of Differentiation 4 (CD4) was detected in immersion fixed human T cells using Human CD4 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (# AF-379-NA) at 2 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. CD4 in Human Lymph Node.
Cluster of Differentiation 4 (CD4) was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human lymph node using Human CD4 Monoclonal Antibody (# MAB379) at 15 µg/mL overnight at 4℃.
