R&D Systems offers a Proteome Profiler Human Chemokine Antibody Array (Catalog # ARY017 ). This Array provides a rapid, sensitive method for simultaneously detecting the relative expression of 31 human chemokines in a single sample of cell culture supernate, cell lysate, tissue lysate, serum, plasma, urine, or saliva. The arrays are nitrocellulose membrane-based and do not require any specialized equipment. These are an ideal alternative to performing multiple immunoprecipitation/Western blot experiments. The Proteome Profiler Human Chemokine Antibody Array contains buffers, detection antibodies, and four membranes spotted in duplicate with capture antibodies carefully selected for their specificity.

Simultaneous Detection of Multiple Chemokines. The Proteome Profiler Human Chemokine Antibody Array (Catalog # ARY017) was used to simultaneously assess chemokine levels in supernates from the THP-1 human acute monocytic leukemia cell line. Cells were either untreated (A) or treated (B)with Recombinant Human IFN-gamma (Catalog # 285-IF) for 8 hours, followed by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) for 16 hours. PC = Positive Control. C. Histogram profiles for select analytes were generated by quantifying the mean spot pixel densities from the arrays using standard imagining software.
