R&D Systems now offers a new Proteome Profiler Human Phospho-MAPK Antibody Array (Catalog # ARY002B ). This array can be used to simultaneously detect the phosphorylation of 26 signaling molecules in a single sample of cell lysate. It includes antibodies to detect mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs), extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERK1/2), c-Jun N-terminal kinases (JNK1-3), and isoforms of p38. In addition, it detects other important intracellular regulators of development and proliferation, including Phospho-CREB (S133), Phospho-p53 (S46), Phospho-Akt (S472/S473/S474), and Phospho-TOR (S2448). The use of Proteome Profiler Antibody Arrays for multi-analyte profiling eliminates the need to perform numerous immunoprecipitation/Western blot experiments and requires no specialized equipment.

Simultaneous Detection of Multiple Phosphorylated Proteins in UV-treated HeLa Cells using the Proteome Profiler Human Phospho-MAPK Antibody Array.
A. HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cells were either untreated or treated with UV and allowed to recover for 30 minutes. The relative levels of phosphorylation of multiple intracellular signaling molecules were simultaneously assessed in cell lysates using the Proteome Profiler Human Phospho-MAPK Antibody Array (Catalog # ARY002B). PC=Positive Control. B. Histogram profiles for select analytes were generated by quantifying the mean spot pixel densities from individual spots using image software analysis.
