Histamine H2 Receptor antibody [N1], N-term detects Histamine H2 Receptor protein at cytoplasm by immunofluorescent analysis.Sample: HeLa cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min.Green: Histamine H2 Receptor protein stained by Histamine H2 Receptor antibody [N1], N-term (GTX108152) diluted at 1:500.Red: alpha Tubulin, a cytoskeleton marker, stained by alpha Tubulin antibody [GT114] (GTX628802) diluted at 1:1000.Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining.
Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Histamine H2 Receptor antibody [N1], N-term (GTX108152) diluted at 1:1000.

Form Liquid
Buffer 0.1M Tris, 0.1M Glycine, 10% Glycerol (pH7). 0.01% Thimerosal was added as a preservative.
Storage Store as concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), store at 4ºC. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20ºC or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Background Histamine is a ubiquitous messenger molecule released from mast cells, enterochromaffin-like cells, and neurons. Its various actions are mediated by histamine receptors H1, H2, H3 and H4. Histamine receptor H2 belongs to the family 1 of G protein-coupled receptors. It is an integral membrane protein and stimulates gastric acid secretion. It also regulates gastrointestinal motility and intestinal secretion and is thought to be involved in regulating cell growth and differentiation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
