R&D Systems now offers recombinant human FLRT1 (Catalog # 2794-FL), FLRT2 (Catalog # 2877-FL), and FLRT3 (Catalog # 2795-FL). The FLRT family of proteins are type I transmembrane glycoproteins characterized by the presence of ten leucine-rich repeats and a juxtamembrane Fibronectin type III domain. The LRR domains are responsible for both the localization of the proteins in areas of cell contact and homotypic cell-cell associations. The Fibronectin domains mediate an interaction with FGF receptors, suggesting that these proteins play a role in regulating FGF signaling pathways. Our FLRT proteins have undergone rigorous QC testing to ensure superior quality, high biological activity, and lot-to-lot consistency.
