R&D Systems now offers a recombinant human IL-17A/F heterodimer (Catalog # 5194-IL ). Human IL-17A/F is a secreted, disulfide-linked glycoprotein comprised of two members of the IL-17 family of cytokines, IL-17A and IL-17F. Like IL-17A and IL-17F homodimers, the IL-17A/F heterodimer is produced by activated Th17 cells and has been suggested to bind to the widely expressed receptor, IL-17 RA. IL-17A/F induces chemokine production and airway neutrophilia with intermediate potency between IL-17A (more potent) and IL-17F (less potent). This product adds to the rapidly expanding line of Th17-related research reagents available from R&D Systems. Stringent manufacturing conditions and rigorous QC testing ensure high biological activity, lot-to-lot consistency, and low endotoxin levels.
