R&D Systems is now offering a human IFN-gamma/IL-2 Dual Color ELISpot Kit (Catalog # ELD4506). This kit is designed to simultaneously detect IL-2 and IFN-gamma-secreting cells at the single cell level. Following the addition of chromogenic substrates, cells secreting IFN-gamma appear as blue spots, while those secreting IL-2 appear as red spots. ELISpot assays are highly reproducible and sensitive, and can be used to measure responses with frequencies below 1 in 100,000 cells. Additionally, ELISpot assays do not require prior in vitro expansion and are suitable for high-throughput analysis using only small numbers of cells.
