特長
  • Antidiabetic agent.
  • Potent and selective partial agonist of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ), a nuclear receptor regulating lipid and glucose metabolism. Has low nanomolar binding affinity to PPARγ and micromolar binding to the isotypes PPARα and PPARβ/δ. The binding affinity constant to PPARγ is 12 times lower than Amorfrutin A (Prod. No. AG-CN2-0462).
  • Glucose-lowering agent. Improves insulin sensitivity, glucose tolerance and blood lipid variables without increase of fat storage or hepatoxicity.
  • Shows potent PPARγ-dependent anti-inflammatory activity.
  • Antimicrobial agent.
