 | Detection of Human and Mouse Wnt‑10a by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line and NIH‑3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 2 µg/mL of Rat Anti-Mouse Wnt‑10a Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB34691) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF005). A specific band was detected for Wnt‑10a at approximately 46 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1. |

Mouse Wnt-10a is synthesized as a 417 amino acid (aa) precursor that contains a 382 aa mature region. The mature region contains 24 cysteines and two potential N-linked glycosylation sites. Mature mouse Wnt-10a shares 96% and 99% aa sequence identity with mature human and rat Wnt-10a, respectively. Wnt-10a shares 64% aa sequence identity with Wnt-10b/12. Wnt-10a is produced by tumors and thymic epithelium. |
