CF(Carrier-Free)とは？
R&D Systems社組換え体タンパク質製品では通常ウシ血清アルブミン(BSA)をキャリアタンパク質として加えています。キャリアタンパク質を加えることで組換え体タンパク質の安定性が高まり、使用期限が長くなります。また、より濃度の低い溶液での保管も可能となります。CF製品はBSAが含まれない製品となります。一般的に細胞培養や、ELISAのスタンダードにはBSA含有製品を推奨しています。CF製品はBSAが影響してしまうアプリケーションに推奨されます。

- The Reg family constitutes a subset of the calcium-dependent C-type lectin superfamily. These small, secreted proteins have been implicated in a range of physiological processes including acting as acute phase reactants, lectins, survival/growth factors for insulin-producing pancreatic beta-cells, neural cells, and epithelial cells of the digestive system. Studies also indicate a role for Reg family members in tumor formation and indicate their potential for use as biomarkers of carcinogenesis.Reg3A also named lithostathine 3 and pancreatitis-associated protein 2, belongs to the Regenerating gene family of C-type lectins. Reg3 is overexpressed during the acute phase of pancreatitis.
