R&D Systems now offers a human HGF R/c-MET PlusCellect Kit (Catalog # PLS358 ) for the positive selection of cells expressing the HGF receptor. HGF R/c-MET is a receptor tyrosine kinase that induces the proliferation of endothelial and epithelial cells, and may be involved in the invasive migration of tumor cells. The PlusCellect Cell Enrichment Kit includes two antibodies, one for immunopurification and the other for immunophenotypical analysis. Cells of interest are tagged with a biotinylated antibody, bound to streptavidin-conjugated magnetic particles (Catalog # MAG999, or equivalent), and then isolated using any compatible magnet system (please see the data sheet for details). Following selection, the efficiency of enrichment can easily be assessed with the provided PE-conjugated detection antibody.
