R&D Systems is now offering recombinant mouse Neutrophil Elastase/ELA2 (Catalog # 4517-SE). Neutrophil Elastase is a serine protease that functions in the immune response to inflammation and infection. This protein is shown to be involved in the degradation of many extracellular matrix components, and in the activation and inhibition of cytokines. Neutrophil Elastase mediates lung destruction and airway damage in diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, cystic fibrosis, and adult respiratory distress syndrome making it a target for therapeutic intervention. The activity of the new recombinant protein is measured by its ability to cleave the fluorogenic peptide substrate MeOSuc-Ala-Ala-Pro-Val-AMC. ■Cell Surface Staining Fluorochrome-labeled Antibodies ■Intracellular Staining Fluorochrome-labeled Antibodies ■PlusCellect Cell Selection & Detection Kits ■Polyclonal Antibodies ■Recombinant Proteins |
